Hello everybody,

My client's platform has begun to improve efficiencies within the financial
sector. They are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead grow their rails
platform and their rails team for 2017. This position will be responsible
for putting in place best practice and setting the framework for growth and
excellence. The role has flexibility in terms of working arrangements and
is looking to pay around $140,000- 160,000 plus super mark. You will be
reporting into one of the co-founders and your role will be to lead and
grow the Engineering team as well as initially having a very hands-on focus.

- Ruby, Ruby on rails
- Javascript (React, Angular)
- DevOps Practices
- TDD,
- CI, CD
- Scala, Spark, Hadoop Etc
- Machine Learning
- AWS, Azure



This role will initially be very hands on so this position is ideal for
somebody looking to get their hands dirty coding, whilst also being capable
of growing and nurturing teams. As this role involves growing a team you
will ideally be able to put in place scalable processes.
