Hi everyone

I'm looking for a Ruby on Rails Tech Lead for a month contract (likely to
extend)

We're working with an exciting Fintech company in Sydney who are looking to
scale their Rails applications as the company grows. The role will involve
maintaining and developing new features on the existing Rails-based
applications. The projects are technically complex and challenging,
requiring a developer who loves solving problems with Ruby.

Ideally, you would be someone who has had prior experience working in a
collaborative environment who is opinionated about how online products
should work. You would be working in an agile environment, using AWS and
continuous integration.


- Strong track record of developing web applications using Ruby
- Skilled in client side js; particularly jQuery. Experience with Node
or React will also be ideal.
- Able to integrate and leverage 3rd party APIs
- Familiar with AWS

Type: Daily rate contract
Rate: Competitive
Working on-site
Immediate start if possible

Requirements

- Able to refactor/rewrite existing code
- Able to provide strategic guidance on RoR and mentor/lead junior
developers
- Skilled in client side js; particularly jQuery. Experience with Node
or React will also be ideal.
- Able to integrate and leverage 3rd party APIs
- Familiar with AWS or any other cloud based infrastructure

Type: Daily rate contract
